Elettromedia names new president.

Advanced Marketing, the parent company of Elettromedia USA, American Hard Bag, Velocity and Biketronics brands, announced the promotion of Rob Wempe to President of Mobile Audio for Advanced Marketing companies.

Wempe was previously VP of Sales & Marketing at the company for fifteen years.

“Under his leadership, he has grown the Hertz and Audison brands to amazing growth levels,”  said Steve Bolden, co-owner of Advanced Marketing Companies. “Rob’s experience as a retail buyer coupled with his experience with Rockford Corporation (Domestic and International) has been a huge asset to Advanced Marketing.”

Co-Owner Phil Bolden said Wempe has already effectively been serving as president by managing sales and marketing as well as inventory and P&L functions for the company’s Mobile divisions.  This is true, particularly since Randy Davis, who has served at KICKER, KENWOOD, and JL Audio, joined the company in January as National Sales Manager, joining Jeff Peters as National Marketing Manager of all Advanced Marketing brands.

Wempe said of Advanced Marketing (AMD) brands,  “Hertz is growing at record levels in 2025. Hertz Marine is all new and has an amazing future at AMD.” He noted new Audison Forza DSP amplifiers and VOCE II speakers. “Our new acquisitions of American Hard Bag, Velocity and Biketronics will assist us in being the motorcycle one-stop shop in our industry,” he said.

  4. I have known Rob for his entire mobile electronics career starting with Genesis Enterprises in Lenexa, KS and through his days at Rockford. What a first class act and very deserving of this promotion. Congrats Rob!
