KENWOOD and JVC are shipping their recently announced lines of Direct Replacement radios using new iDatalink Maestro technology that allows deeper integration into millions of vehicles without the need for extra dash kits.
With the new KENWOOD and JVC Direct Replacement radios, installers remove the factory screen and replace it with a new Direct Replacement screen that comes in either 8 or 10 inches. With new Maestro kits, the screen will automatically show the car’s original factory features and retain items such as a volume knob.
The brain of the KENWOOD and JVC radios directly replaces the brain of the factory radios. Eleven Maestro kits cover 50 million vehicles. The dealer no longer needs to stock many expensive integration kits, said KENWOOD.
John Lucas, Vice President of Sales for KENWOOD USA said in January, “The Direct Replacement line shifts the focus from modifying vehicles to seamlessly integrating our products, giving dealers and customers a superior solution without compromise.”
The new KENWOOD models include the DAX8000S and eXcelon Reference models include DAX800XR and DAX1050XR.
JVC models include the KW-Z800AW and KW-Z1000AW.

Will they come with oem cassette decks?
Will it fit a 24 Ford Maverick XLT?

I am curious do they need any cells Ascent or salesperson in Los Angeles area?
I wonder if I can add it to my Lincolin 21 in a step to hock a CD player back. I failed to connect CD through USP cables.
Hopefully I can replace the radio in the 2025 Honda CRV that I have.

These will be available for the ATS, CTS, XTS, SRX and Escalade Cue systems in the 8″ version!
So looking forward to having a 10″ screen in my 2019 Ram 1500. The OEM operating system is glitchy at best and don’t think about having wired CarPlay in an Arizona summer.
