Metra Ships All-in-One Vehicle Specific Audio Kits

Metra Electronics  has begun shipping its new all-in-one audio systems, which were created in partnership with VIBE Audio.

Originally shown at SEMA in November, the kits offer easy installation along with VIBE Audio quality. VIBE is the number one car audio brand in the UK, it said.

The first four kits are for Jeep vehicles to be followed by a system for BOSE amplified 2019-2025 GMC Sierra or Chevrolet Silverado (GM-PPKT-1) trucks. More applications will be released in the future.

Systems for Jeep models include:

• Non-amplified 2024-up Jeep JL (JP-PPKT-1)
• Amplified 2024-up Jeep JL (JP-PPKT-2)
• Non-Amplified 2018.5-2023 Jeep JL (JP-PPKT-3)
• Amplified 2018.5-2023 Jeep JL (JP-PPKT-4)

The suggested retail price for the non-amplified 2024-up Jeep JL (JP-PPKT-1) is $2,129.99.

The kits include VIBE amplifiers, speakers, subwoofers and enclosures, and Metra accessories including vehicle-specific plug-n-play amplifier interfaces, pre-tuned for the vehicle.

All power and vehicle-specific mounting accessories are included for straightforward installation. The GM-PPKT-1, JP-PPKT-2, and JP-PPKT-4 are designed for amplified vehicles and include amplifier installation harnesses that bypass the factory amplifier and use OE speaker wires to minimize wiring.
