Morel Introduces its new flagship Supremo car audio system.

Morel announced a new flagship, hand-crafted audio system called the Supremo Special Edition offering a full redesign from the previous top-line Supremo, introduced seven years ago.

The Supremo Special Edition moves up to a 3-way active component system designed to work with DSP-controlled installations (compared to the earlier 2-way system).

It uses a new magnet structure, and achieves a higher resolution with a greater frequency range and lower distortion, said Morel’s Nir Paz.

The Special Edition comes in two versions: the Supremo 63 Special Edition (SE) with a 6.5-inch woofer and the Supremo 93 SE with a 9-inch woofer. Pricing is $9,000 and $11,000, respectively.

The systems use Accuflex™ soft dome tweeters, 2.1-inch midrange voice coils and 3-inch woofer external voice coils.

Speaker cones are triple-layer carbon fiber/Rohacell composite cones for a balance of stiffness, low mass, and internal damping.

Additional Features:

All drivers in the Supremo Special Edition use copper shorting rings within their motor assemblies—reducing eddy currents and improving linearity.

Magnet systems across the tweeter, midrange, and woofer are modeled via advanced FEA simulation to focus energy exactly where it’s needed. The structures are fully shielded for safe operation alongside sensitive vehicle electronics without compromising magnetic strength or acoustic output.

Morel’s Uniflow aluminum chassis minimizes internal reflections and resonances, while the Controlled Acoustic Resistance (C.A.R™) filter sharpens the woofer’s transient behavior for tighter, more bass.

The system also incorporates Morel’s Anti-Standing Wave (ASW™) rear acoustic chamber in the tweeter and midrange, breaking up unwanted internal reflections and eliminating resonance buildup—yielding a more accurate, transparent mid and high-frequency response.

All elements of the Special Edition have been Klippel-verified.
