Pioneer is starting to ship two new head units–an entry level NEX model and a higher end model near the top of the line.
The new DMH-1800NEX is a double DIN entry level AV receiver at basically, the same price as the model it replaces, the DMH-1770NEX. It has a 6.8-inch screen and includes CarPlay and Android Auto at $279.99, as shown on Crutchfield.

The new DMH-WT5000NEX is a step down from the DMH-WT6000NEX offering similar performance and features but in a smaller, 9-inch floating screen (and without the Luminous Bar). It is shown at $699.99 on Crutchfield.

Anyone who supports pioneer needs to have their head examined. They prevent us retailers from making any money. They keep changing retail pricing. I for one don’t need them. Give it a week and they will already be discounted.
You can’t be serious
I for one miss the auto tune function. That is the main reason im still runningwith my DEH-X8800BHS. Its been a darn good sounding head unit.
I hope they actually fixed the issues they were having with the 1770 screen/PCB, and that this isn’t just a relaunch of the exact same thing that’s going to have the same issues
Pioneer said, DHM-1800NEX is a new unit from the ground up.
