CEoutlook announces the appointment of James Chevrette as Associate Editor. He will work with Amy Gilroy, who remains Editor of the 14 year old publication, which covers news relating to the car audio aftermarket.
Chevrette has worked for Canada-based distributor Trends Electronics for the past 12 years where he was a Territory Sales Rep.
He began his career as an installer for several shops in British Columbia and Alberta Canada in the early 2000s, after attending the Mobile Dynamics school for installation in 1994 in Toronto.
He won the USACi world championships twice and Best of Show in 2005. He also won national SPL championships in dB Drag Racing.
Chevrette then became a Technical Support Rep/Trainer for Autostart in Canada and then served in multiple capacities for Automobility before moving to Trends.
He has written for publications including 1Sixty8Media, WiFi HiFi, and Mobile Electronics magazine and he has been a Contributing Editor to CEoutlook for over a year. He also launched the blog CanadianCarStereo.com.
CEoutlook looks forward to benefiting from Chevrette’s car audio experience, his perspective coming from both an audio and car audio background, and his enthusiasm for the industry.
Chevrette said, “I am incredibly excited about this opportunity to report and share the news on our awesome industry. ”
