Kenwood, JVC, tease entry into new category with help of Maestro.

KENWOOD, JVC and iDatalink Maestro will introduce next month a new product category for JVC and KENWOOD, which they are calling, “the future of car audio.”

The two radio brands are currently running teaser short videos on social media for their upcoming respective lines of products that will “change the way we perceive what we do,” said one spokesman.   “This innovative solution delivers better-than-OEM performance, slashes hardware costs, and opens the door to a wider range of vehicle compatibility,” said a published description.

The new products have been under development for several years. They will work with new technology from iDatalink Maestro.

The full release will take place at the KnowledgeFest show in Las Vegas on January 31 at a training session from 12:30 to 2:45 pm (for JVC, KENWOOD and Maestro jointly).  The session is described as follows:

Unveiling the Future of Car Audio: A Revolution by KENWOOD x JVC x Maestro

Prepare to be part of history as KENWOOD, JVC, and Maestro introduce a groundbreaking product category set to redefine aftermarket car audio. This isn’t just a new product—it’s the future.

Follow up 1-hour sessions will be offered separately for JVC and KENWOOD on Day 2 of KnowledgeFest at 4:15 and 5:30 pm, respectively, with YouTube personalities/industry experts Dean and Fernando helping to lead the sessions.

  1. I would think it’s more likely that they are moving the Maestro chipset INTO the radios, and we will be flashing the radios for the cars, not adding an extra module.

  2. Oh this is for sure the Maestro deck launch. Probably built by JVC/Kenwood corp. Well I’m happy to seek JVC/kenwood is involved rather than some unknown…… As long as it’s not a copy of the buttonless 709 or the chinese m590 or 4709/4710.
