DS18 announced at the SEMA Show last month a new line of premium powersports, marine and motorcycle products called NVY that is aimed at an upscale customer.
The line will start with a limited number of products. It uses best in class materials and will offer dealer protected distribution, said DS18 General Manager Sasha Susterman. Full shipping is in the first quarter 2025.
NVY speakers include carbon fiber cones with built-in chasing lights instead of the standard RGB lighting. The coaxial speakers use neodymium magnets. Products include 6- and 8-inch coaxials and 10- and 12-inch subwoofers, six high-grade water resistant amplifiers and four tower speakers.
An example is the amplifier at $499.95. The four-channel model delivers 120 watts by 4 at 4 ohms. The Class D amplifier has a built in crossover and is iPX7 water resistant.
A step up amplifier is the NVY-T800.4D at $649.95 rated at 200 watts by 4 at 4 ohms with an IP67 water resistance rating.
The line is offered with protected territories for dealers and it does not allow third party online resellers, said DS18.
The company may offer a car audio version of NVY in the future, it said.
