New Plug and Play Anti-Theft System for Toyota

A new car security product will make an official debut at the SEMA Show that is among the first to offer a quick, plug and play installation of an anti-theft catalytic converter and wheel system for Toyota vehicles.

The anti-theft system, available through Monarch Distributors (formerly The David Levy Company), can be installed in under ten minutes, said owner Raul Gomez.

Monarch Distributors teamed with a Taiwanese company to offer the product called Protect X Smart Sensor Systems.  It includes a patented tilt and shock sensor and T-harness that plugs into the steering column of Toyota vehicles to guard against theft of the catalytic converter and wheels.

Protect X also includes enhanced keyless entry that allows remote window up/down control using the factory key fob.

The company is currently working on a similar product for Honda vehicles.

We published a press release on this last month, but thought it deserved some more attention for the SEMA Show, where it will be on display, November 5-8 under Monarch Distributors’ booth #10150 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, North Hall.

The former David Levy Company was one of the original car security companies, dating back to the 1980s, Upon Levy’s retirement In January, the company became Monarch Distributors LLC out of Stanton, CA, led by Gomez.  The company continues to market David Levy’s signature line, Black Widow security.
