mObridge added a new kit to its line of vehicle specific A2B DSP/amplifier packages, this one for Ford F150 trucks.
The K2 plug and play A2B 9-channel DSP/amplifier combines an A2B digital interface and a high powered amplifier into one compact unit that can be directly swapped for the factory amplifier in most F150’s.
“We now have put it into a complete kit with everything needed for the install; mounting bracket, wiring harness, ACM harness, power and ground wire. The amp will also come with a basic tune too that will have time alignment crossovers pre-set. This is also fully adjustable through our PC tool mObridge DSP,” said a mObridge statement.
The amplifier kits are available for both the Unleashed and regular 8 speaker B&O systems from 2018 and up. They significantly improve on the factory amplifier as they provide full 10 channel DSP and 9 channels.

1 x 400W RMS @ 2 ohm
2 x 150W RMS @ 2 (130W @ 4ohm)
6 x 75W RMS @ 4 ohm
1 x 4V RMS pre-out (full-range, fully DSP-able)
“The amplifier features top-of-the-line efficiency with D-Class technology, as well as advanced power supply management algorithms that vary the voltage rail depending on output requirements. This makes the amplifier highly resistant to overheating, while also allowing for passive cooling – meaning that no fan is required,” said mObridge.
Because the amplifier’s input is A2B, the signal is kept digital directly up to amplification, limiting signal loss from excess DAC/ADC conversions between an otherwise separate A2B digital interface and DSP/amplifier. “The result of this is the purest signal and exceptional audiophile clarity,” said mObridge.
