Orion announced a new inventory swap program that lets dealers trade in current inventory from other suppliers for a credit towards Orion products.
The company also announced it is shipping its XTR amplifier line of Class A/B and Class D amplifiers.
Regarding the inventory swap program, dealers provide a copy of their invoice from another supplier and send the products to Orion’s warehouse. They then receive a credit towards Orion product for that dollar amount.
Orion’s Bill Turner called the swap a “no questions program” and said, “Through the Inventory Swap Program, we aim to offer our partners an innovative way to enhance their offerings and maximize the value of their inventory.”
The XTR line includes a compact XTR1000.4, 1000 watt RMS 4-Channel Class-AB amplifier at $349.95. Features include:

That’s a strong offer!
I have seen those kind of offers in the alarm business before but not in amps and speakers. At least not a public offer. Be hard for a dealer to turn down that offer if he has too much paid for, slow moving inventory laying around. Of course the devil is in the details..
