Press Release: MONTELBELLO, CA– Soundstream Reserve, a MAP protected brand from Epsilon, announced it is extending its warranty for its popular V2 wireless CarPlay/Android Auto source unit for Harley-Davidson touring motorcycles to an industry-leading five years. The previous warranty for the V2 was two years.
“This product is literally bullet proof and we believe in it that much that we have extended the warranty,” said Epsilon VP Sales Ronnie Brashear. “A warranty in the electronics world is really unheard of these days.”
The V2 has an 8.3 inch screen and it is iDatalink Maestro compatible to retain Harley features and SiriusXM ready. It has an advanced headset intercom system with mode selection for the driver and passenger. The radio has a Bluetooth broadcast feature that can share music with an unlimited number of other bikes within 330 meters of the radio (Rally Mode). It also includes built-in iGo navigation.
Under the headset system, the rider can select from navigation, music and phone call modes. The passenger can choose from modes other than phone.
During the five-year warranty period, Epsilon will repair to like-new condition or replace the V2 product with a new or like-new unit (at Epsilon Electronics’ sole and absolute discretion) for the original purchaser of the product. Should it prove to be defective in workmanship or material under normal use, there will be no service charge for repair or replacement.
The Soundstream Reserve V2 radio is designed for 2014 and up Harley-Davidson touring motorcycles at a MAP of $1,599.
