Match Intros Up 6DSP Amplifier

MSC, the distributor for Match, Brax, Helix, Blam, Escort and other brands is shipping a small versatile amplifier with digital signal processing and handy features.

The Match UP 6DSP is a compact amplifier with six amplifier channels and seven DSP channels that is compatible with up to 18 volts of supply voltage so it will work with newer electric vehicles such as later model Teslas.

It has staggered power of four channels at 65 watts and two channels at 160 watts.  Users can combine the two 160 watt channels to drive a single dual voice coil subwoofer and power four speakers with the 65 watt channels.

The UP 6DSP has “Real Center,” a proprietary circuit that creates an upmixed center channel even when not factory equipped.

Match offers an ADEP.3 circuit that provides “intelligent loading” for factory audio systems (that must recognize an amplifier load in order to work properly).  Users don’t have to add separate resistor packs or additional accessories. The amplifier provides hi-level, lo-level, and toslink digital input sections.

The UP 6DSP measures 5 by 5 inches and has a retail price of $699.
