Pioneer recently began shipping three new head units that lead with a Maestro-ready model at $370 minimum advertised price (MAP), called the DMH-2000NEX.
The new decks offer 6.8-inch screens and a more flexible user interface with quick access to more functions. Audio has been upgraded with the use of a high quality AKM DAC chipset and premium capacitors.
The DMH-2000NEX deck offers wired CarPlay/Android Auto with SiriusXM capability, HD Radio, Alexa and Maestro compatibility and it replaces the current Pioneer DMH-2660NEX.
Next in line is the DMH-W3000 which steps up to wireless CarPlay/Android Auto but it does not have Maestro compatibility. Other features include WiFi, SiriusXM capability, HD Radio, and Alexa at $400.
These are joined by the DMH-W3050 at $450 with similar features to the W3000 but it adds Maestro capability.
All allow over-the-air updates for future improvements. They have six 4-volt preouts, 13 band eq and time alignment.
