Advanced Marketing, the US Distributor of Hertz, Audison and other brands, announced it is taking over the operations of American Hard Bag, which sells motorcycle accessories including installation accessories that are used by many motorcycle audio shops.
American Hard Bag also sells the Velocity motorcycle audio line. So Advanced Marketing now offers Elettromedia premium audio plus Velocity audio and then American Hard Bag accessories.
American Hard Bag (AHB) and Velocity will continue operations in Rocklin, CA and employees will be retained. AHB founder Robert Gomez will continue to head up the company and report directly to Steve and Phil Bolden, Co-Presidents of Advanced Marketing.
“With the popularity of motorcycle audio, the addition of the premier motorcycle installation accessory brand to our company makes a lot of sense,” said Rob Wempe, VP Elettromedia-USA and Advanced Marketing. He will also now serve as VP of the American Hard Bag companies.

Elettromedia has been a vendor partner of American Hard Bag since the launch of American Hard Bag in 2014.
Phil Bolen said, “It gives us the ability to move quicker with motorcycle audio and tech support. And it gives us the ability to develop ancillary products for other specialty applications that we can tool up for and manufacture in the US. It takes a typical brand two years to engineer a new product.”
With American Hard Bags manufacturing including 3D printers, laser cutters, 3D scanners and CNC machines, the company can prototype and achieve lower volume production in the US very quickly, said Bolden.
And this can be true of products for ATVs, Jeeps and other vehicles.
Conversely, Advanced Marketing can bring new distribution to American Hard Bag products.
Gomez said, “We value our long-term partnership with Elettromedia-USA and Advanced Marketing, and we are thrilled to bring additional coverage and a new level of motorcycle products to the Advanced Marketing portfolio of brands.”
“This addition to AHB product offering brings not only a great array of motorcycle products but also brings us a full product development team to help us sell more Hertz motorcycle products and will help us enter new vehicle categories to sell speakers and amplifiers,” added Phil Bolden.
In addition to Hertz, Audison and now AHB and Velocity products, Advanced Marketing also distributes the Connection, and FIT brands.
