Diamond Audio announced three Harley Davidson replacement radio prototypes at the SEMA Show this week. The radios are expected to ship in the second quarter next year.
They offer wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. They cover 1998 to current year Road Glide and Street Glide Harley motorcycles.
“Harley Davidson’s factory radio lacks modern features such as wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto for streaming music and live navigation…the Diamond Audio radio gives the user a fully functional ‘DSP’ Digital Sound Processor for maximum output and clarity to overcome road noise. All this with a plug-n-play interface and factory fit,” said a spokesman.
Diamond Audio’s 1998-2013 “Perfect Fit” radio replacement for Street Glide/Road Glide motorcycle offers SiriusXM capability in addition to wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, built-in DSP, AM/FM weather band, 40×4 watt power, and 5V pre-outs.
Diamond’s 2014+ model year radio adds built in Idatalink Maestro RR.
