New rep firm Polarity Check Marketing

A new manufacturer’s rep firm has launched by Susan Kranitz along with the award-winning Jason Kranitz, formerly of Kingpin Car Audio, NV and Kingpin University.

The rep firm serves the area of Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and part of Texas.  Vendor partners include Elettromedia (Southern Nevada and Arizona), Cerwin-Vega/Diamond Audio (full territory minus Utah), as well as RDVFL, Exile Marine Audio, Vegas Hard Bags and Robert Becker Design.

Given his background, Jason offers the advantages of being able to train dealers on installation, fabrication and to answer technical questions as well as provide retail business advice.

Kranitz ran retailer Kingpin Car Audio for many years as well as Kingpin University, a 12 volt dealer training school for the past nine years. In October, he decided to take his career to the next level, which meant stepping away from retail.   In addition to being principal of Polarity Check Maketing Group, he is re-launching his dealer training university of nine years this fall.

The Kranitz’s launched the rep firm because the region is under-served by reps.  One supplier, in particular, was persistent in asking Jason to become a rep, he said.

He does a lot of traveling. “For me, education is being in front of your dealers…we offer free trainings via zoom and we offer to come to your area and not only do a training but an install with you.  The other area is I help them with system design. With some of the products, the guys are confused, so I’m making packages and then I offer sales classes.  With my technical background, I can give a technical answer a lot faster than the supplier in many cases,” said Kranitz.

“When it’s 8 o’clock at night, they can call me. Or if there’s a customer, they can say, I have this guy here, and I can say, ‘If it were me, I would sell him this and this.’ Or some say, ‘I have this DSP, how does it work?’ I’m not first in line for tech support, but we can give them system design, product training and explain how things work,” he added.

There are also many UTV/ATV shops and motorcycle and marine shops in the area that are not fully involved in audio. Kranitz hopes to introduce them to audio and help 12 volt dealers to work with them as expediters.

General training for Polarity Check dealers will be held online August 16th and 17th.   Sessions will include instruction on fabrication, and advice on bidding jobs and sales training.

Kranitz won numerous awards from Mobile Electronics magazine while at Kingpin Audio including Retailer of the Year twice, Installer of the Year and Sales Pro of the Year (2020).

Polarity Check Marketing Group actually launched in April last year but did not heavily publicize the launch.  Now that the firm has been in operation for a year, Kranitz plans to take on additional vendor partners. For more information  contact: [email protected] 702-944-9515
