VOXX Electronics (VOXX.DEI) is the second company to announce it is partnering with the new manufacturer’s rep firm, Crossover Marketing, launched by former KENWOOD executive Rob Sutton.
Crossover Marketing is located in Portland, OR and covers the Pacific Northwest. Its first client, BOSS Audio, was announced earlier this month.
Crossover Marketing will represent in the Pacific NW, all VOXX and VOXX•DEI brands in remote start and security, telematics, ADAS and rear seat entertainment.
Sutton launched Crossover Marketing in March along with long time friend in consumer electronics Paul Pilat. Sutton is a 15-year veteran of KENWOOD, serving most recently as Sales Director. Pilat is an executive at Intel who served at MTi and RCA earlier in his career. Sutton’s son Sam has also joined the firm.
Crossover says it will bring its combined business expertise to help dealers grow and help its partners with “innovative marketing” and “measurable results.”
VOXX Senior VP Aron Demers said, “Rob has been a well-respected sales professional in the 12-volt independent channel for many years in various roles. We are very excited to have his and his team represent us in the Pacific Northwest. I am looking forward to a long-lasting relationship that will benefit both companies in the short and long term. Best of success to him and his team with growing the newly formed rep firm.”
