AudioControl, maker of audio processors and amplifiers, announced it has officially entered the subwoofer and speaker categories.
The company is launching two lines of car subwoofers (the Space series and Spike series) and a line of car speakers.
The Space series uses low profile baskets with fiber matrix injection molded polypropylene cones and removable metal grilles in 10” and 12” sizes. Other features include:
- Structurally rigid basket
- Heavy duty voice coils with thermal efficient cooling
The Spike series includes heavy duty rigid baskets and high-excursion, and internally designed radial cooled motor. The series uses double-stitched surrounds combined with fiber matrix, mica coated paper cones. The subwoofers each use a dual dust cap system and include a grille. Sizes are 8”, 10”, and 12.”
Joining theses is the Pacific Northwest speaker series with double roll surrounds and edge enhanced steel frames.
“This launch is the result of extensive technical research, precise design, and pure enthusiast development,” said Herb Brown, President of North America, AAMP Global (parent company of AudioControl). “The speakers and woofers capture what we feel AudioControl customers have grown to expect from this industry-leading brand. Our design team of audio specialists and developers labored over every small detail, down to the nomenclature which is a direct tie to its Seattle heritage.”
The line will be on display at the upcoming KnowledgeFest in Orlando, May 19 – 21. AudioControl will hold five training sessions at the show, and the products will be unveiled on the Five Star Car Stereo Live Show, Monday, 8 May at 6:30pm ET on Facebook and YouTube.
