Press Release: The market’s first custom-cut sound deadening kits for semi-trucks are debuting at the Mid America Truck Show at the end of March by SoundSkins, said the company.
Truckers and fleet owners now have a simple solution to decreasing road noise and reducing rattles and vibration in their Peterbilt trucks. SoundSkins Global will unveil their new pre-cut Peterbilt kits at the Mid America Trucking Show from March 30 through April 1, 2023 at the Kentucky Expo Center.
These new kits will cover the cabin floors and corners, and the truck inner and outer doors of Peterbilt 389 models from 2006-2023 or 386 and 388 models from 2006-2015. By adding the SoundSkins material to the surfaces of their trucks, drivers can reduce the amount of noise and vibration while driving and spending time in their trucks, while also adding a layer of thermal insulation to their vehicle.
SoundSkins Global developed these kits in partnership with Spare Time Fab, a leading aftermarket custom interior truck manufacturer in Pennsylvania. The companies worked to bring the kits to life with the goal of helping truckers improve their comfort when inside of their semi-trucks by reducing outside noise and absorbing vibration.
