Sundown Names New VP Sales & Marketing

Sundown Audio, recently acquired by Systemic Group (owned by Scottie Johnson of XS Power), announced it has named  industry veteran, Shawn Simpson as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Simpson was most recently a manufacturer’s representative for Momentum Marketing in the Texas, Louisiana and Missouri markets.  He has over 33 years experience in sales and management.

“We are excited to welcome Shawn to the Sundown Audio team and look forward to supporting his plans to strategically develop sales and significantly expand our market share,” said Scottie Johnson CEO of Systematic. “His in-depth knowledge of sales in all different fields from retail, distribution, and OEM will be a real asset to our sales channel and our customers.”

Systemic purchased Sundown Audio from owner and President Jacob Fuller in December.  Fuller said at the time that the purchase allows him to focus fully on product development at Sundown, rather than on the company’s day to day operations.

While the purchase makes Sundown and XS Power sister companies under Systemic, the two will operate completely separately, Johnson said Monday, apart from marketing opportunities.

“We will have lots of exciting new products and sales programs to announce,” said Johnson.
