Rockford Fosgate announced that VP Sales Theresa Anthony is leaving the company effective March 3, after accepting a new position outside of the 12 volt industry.
Anthony, who has been with Rockford for 21 years, will be replaced by Zach Luke, currently Rockford National Sales Manager.
Anthony has taken a position with MadLuvv, a cosmetics company as VP Sales and Marketing.
Luke has been with Rockford for 19 years, originally joining as Director of Marketing in 2003 and becoming a Regional Sales Manager in 2007. He was promoted to National Sales Manager in 2015.
“Zach brings a unique perspective to the business. He is passionate, highly driven, hates to lose, and embraces the Rockford culture,” said Bill Jackson, Rockford President and CEO, adding, “He understands retail, how customers buy and what motivates them. Most importantly, Zach understands our brand, it’s history and how it has evolved over the years..”
Luke said, “…My mantra has always been that the magic isn’t in the idea, but the execution of it. With that I plan to build on our success by aligning creative ideas with the needs of the market to deliver a best-in-class experience with Rockford Fosgate.”
Anthony said of her departure, “I am fortunate to have enjoyed an amazing journey in the 12-volt audio world. I’ll always look back on my time at Rockford as defining chapter in my life and in my career,” she said.
Jackson also noted Anthony’s 30 year history in the audio industry. “Theresa has spent much of her professional life in the audio industry. Beginning at Radio Shack back in 1991, her time with Mitek, to her 21 years as part of the Rockford team. Theresa has always been a driven person and willing to take on various challenges. Her dedication, loyalty and passion for the Rockford brand will be missed.”
Congratulations Theresa and good luck in your new position. The 12V industry will miss you and I am sure you will do great things for your new company.
