JL Audio Expands Clarion Marine

JL Audio, Inc. announced that it is expanding the Clarion Marine brand to cover powersports and recreational vehicle (RV) markets

New products under Clarion Marine are expected to ship this year “across key product segments,” said a spokesman.  

Since becoming the exclusive licensee for Clarion Marine from Clarion’s parent company Faurecia in late 2018, JL Audio said it has returned the Clarion Marine brand to a market leadership position, after investing heavily in the brand and new products that were introduced last summer.

JL Audio also said of Clarion Marine on Wednesday, “With this announcement, the brand’s current and future products will now be made available to a global network of OEM customers, resellers and retailers.”

Clarion marine goes global“We’ve made some strategic moves with the Clarion Marine brand to help our team reach its sales goals, and despite the many hurdles presented in 2020, we’re on track for record-breaking sales,” said Andy Oxenhorn, JL Audio President. “We’ve successfully returned Clarion Marine to a leadership position with products that are relevant, well-priced and able to deliver a great customer experience. Now, with an expanded licensing deal, we’re on track to unleashing the brand’s true sales potential globally.”

Faurecia is a global automotive supplier based in France that acquired Clarion over two years ago.
