AAMP Global named Scott Forst, former President of the Americas, as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. In addition, previous President and CEO Jamie Fraser was appointed Executive Chairman of AAMP’s Board.
Forst has been with the company for over 8 years starting as Senior Vice President of Sales. After 5 years, Forst was promoted to President of the Americas where he led the division’s growth strategy through acquisition, channel expansion and product development.
In his new post, Forst will pursue AAMP’s 12 volt strategy of offering plug and play vehicle specific solutions, said AAMP.
Prior to entering the 12 volt business, Forst held executive and management positions at lighting and ceiling fan companies such as Feiss & Monte Carlo, Hunter Fan Co. and Casablanca.
Forst will “continue to focus his efforts on AAMP Global’s overall growth strategies both organically and through acquisition with an emphasis on technology and fully integrated vehicle-specific solutions,” said an AAMP statement.
AAMP Global brands include PAC, Phoenix Gold, Connects2, EchoMaster, and Stinger.
