After shipping new $299 CarPlay decks earlier this summer that lack a DVD player, JVC Mobile Entertainment announced it is now shipping two step-up models, that add a DVD player.
The new KW-V660BT and KW-V66BT offer both CarPlay and Android Auto and carry street prices of $369 each.
“Although we’ve seen a trend in consumers moving towards digital media entertainment options, there is still a significant demand for CD/DVD playback equipped models,” said Steve Cote, JVC Eastern Regional Sales Manager.
