The Mobile Electronics Association (MEA) has rescheduled the KnowledgeFest trade show in Indianapolis that was to take place March 27 to 29.
The MEA sent out a notice stating, “Due to circumstances beyond our control, KnowledgeFest Indianapolis has been rescheduled to July 10-12.”
The organization said details on changing registration, fees, and other plans will follow shortly.
“In light of the growing seriousness of the Coronavirus, we thought it was the responsible thing to do for the safety of the industry,” said Solomon Daniels, Editor-in-Chief of Mobile Electronics Magazine, produced by the MEA.
He cited the cancellation of major sporting events by the NBA and other organizations.
As of yesterday, Covid-19 was responsible for 4,373 deaths and more than 120,000 cases worldwide. 12 cases have been reported today in Indiana.
We have reached out to the MEA and will post more details here as they become available.
