Yes, JL is releasing Stealthboxes for the JL.
JL Audio is shipping a precision-fit enclosed subwoofer for the new Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited.
The subwoofers are available either for the driver or passenger side, and they mount above the rear wheel wells, leaving the cargo area untouched so there’s no sacrifice of trunk space. Accessories for the new Stealthbox include amplifier-mounting plates that tuck under the front driver or passenger seats.
“Subwoofers can be the single, most significant improvement for a car audio system. Not only is there the added benefit of the subwoofer’s superior bass performance, but with proper system design, the small front and rear speakers can be relieved from reproducing bass, resulting in much richer sound that is cleaner and louder,” said JL Audio.
Stelathbox subwoofers are made of fiberglass and use laser-scanning technology and solid modeling software for a precise fit and maximum enclosure volume to produce strong bass.
Regarding the Stealthbox accessories, the amplifier rack requires no drilled holes and installs using factory hardware. Also included is a fuse holder bracket for up to two JL Audio master ANL fuse blocks, XB-MFBU-ANL (sold separately). It also requires no drilling.
