Firstech, maker of Compustar, said it has teamed with Mid City Engineering to release what it called the first aftermarket vehicle specific remote start system for newer Volvo vehicles.
The Mid City SKSXC Volvo Smart Key Starter lets you use your factor key or an aftermarket remote transmitter to remote start the car. There’s no need to sacrifice a factory key for the install. The SKSXC works with all Firstech remote starters including the top-of-the-line Compustar PRO T11 and DroneMobile for remote-start-from-a-smartphone.
It permits quick installation that can take as little as 15 minutes, said Compustar.
The system works with Volvo models including the S60 (2019), S90 (2017-19), and XC90 (2015-19).
“The release of the SKSXC will kick off the next decade of our partnership with Mid City Engineering,” said Justin Lee, Firstech Marketing Director.
The SKSXC has a suggested retail price of $199.99 and will be available through Firstech and Firstech dealers by April 1st.
Love Midcity Engineering products and service! Great news to hear.
I prefer not to work for Volvo and Saab owners, because they clearly do not make good choices
