Press Release (edited): LAS VEGAS–Hifonics will debut Tuesday at the SEMA Show an all new line of compact chassis amplifiers under a completely new series called ALPHA.
More ALPHA products will be unveiled at CES in January, including car audio amplifiers, passive and powered subwoofers, and full range, coaxial, and component speakers.
Hifonics ALPHA compact amplifiers include full range Class D and mono Class D amplifiers. They are manufactured with voltage matched, tight tolerance and hand- selected proprietary components on a double sided glass epoxy PC board. The innovative use of SMT (Surface Mount) and through-hole components allow the amplifiers to fit into a much smaller chassis than previous amplifiers from Hifonics, said the company.
