Press Release:

The two-year old Window Tint School in Jacksonville, FL reached the milestone of training its 200th student including its youngest student at 16 years old and it’s oldest student at 67.

“We have trained people with absolutely no experience as well as people with years of experience. One of our students has been tinting for 24 years as an example,” said Jon Dewar who runs the school along with Darren Fettik. DJ Medvec is the school’s head instructor.

Women are also among the students; “They absolutely crush it, and almost always run circles around the guys,” said Dewar.

Businesses of all types send trainees including car washes, detail centers, body shops, as well as 12 volt shops.

Students are trained in commercial and home flat glass and paint protection as well as automotive window tint.

The Window Tint School offers two programs: a 3 day ($1500) and a 5 day ($2500) curriculum. The classes include a set of tools, and unlimited dyed, carbon and ceramic film for training plus catered lunches.

“People constantly ask what the difference between the 3 and 5 day. It’s simple. The longer you stay, the more you learn, the more you learn, the faster you will become, the faster you become, the more efficient you will be, the more efficient you become, the more work you will do in a given day, the more work you get done in a given day, the more money you’ll make. Or in short, we teach you how to tint in 3 days; in the next 2 we then apply what you’ve learned through the obstacles we have in each classrooms, complete with exam and time trials,” said Dewar.

The training includes all facets of running a tint business including marketing, buying, pricing, advertising.
