The iLX-107 automatically launches CarPlay without a cord connection to the radio. It simply recognizes an iPhone in your pocket or purse via a WiFi connection.
The iLX-107 is a mechless deck (no CD/DVD) at a suggested $900. It has a 7-inch screen and AM/FM radio and its mounting depth is 5 7/8-inches (it’s a 1-DIN chassis attached to the back of the bottom half of the 7-inch screen).
It can work with an iDatalink Maestro model to retain factory features such as GM OnStar or Ford SYNC.
