VOXX Electronics has combined its car security division with its driver safety division and also integrated Rosen in-dash navigation into a new group to be called the Vehicle Safety, Security and Convenience Group.
The new group will be headed by Joe Dentamaro, Vice President of Vehicle Safety, Security and Convenience. He was previously in charge of the security division. Shane Wilson, previously head of the driver safety division, has been promoted to the new position of Assistant VP of the new group.
In addition, Dan Bisceglia has been promoted from the Technical Service Department to join the new group as Product Manager and will relocate to the Troy, Michigan VOXX facility, joining current product managers Paul Burdick and Michael Lynch.
The full Vehicle Safety, Security and Convenience Group is located in Troy, MI in the same building as VOXX’s OEM Engineering and Product Test Group.
VOXX said it will expand the group, over time, to include new Field Applications Technician and Trainers.
VOXX, which announced the purchase of Rosen last month, said while Rosen navigation products will fall under the new Vehicle Safety, Security and Convenience Group, Rosen’s non-navigation product will fall under the mobile video division. VOXX also operates a third division for satellite radio.
