Rostra Precision Controls announced at the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis, a new line of tailgate-handle integrated CMOS color cameras for popular light duty trucks.
The RearSight cameras include new features such as weatherproof connectors and on-screen parking grid lines that “match the grid lines you would see if using an OE camera system,” said Rostra.
Each tailgate handle camera is custom molded to be a direct replacement to the factory handle. The cameras include a 32.8-foot extension harness, 4-pin weatherproof connector, convoluted tubing, and RCA video output to supply video to any RCA-equipped video monitor.
