Kicker is introducing at CES new high end QS-Series coaxial speakers, part of its premium series of Q Class products.
These include 6.75- and 6×9-inch point-source drivers that are bi-amp-capable.
They have 8dB/octave crossover networks and 25mm silk dome tweeters with neodymium magnets. The tweeters are each placed in the center of the voice coil, along with a custom waveguide for “near-perfect phase alignment,” said Kicker.
They use curvilinear polypropylene woofers that are injected with carbon fiber for a stable but lightweight material.
Both will ship late in the first quarter at $549.95 each.
