CDT Audio, based in Buellton, CA, is offering MX Design series crossovers that provide both 2- and 3-way operation.
Designed to help keep inventories low for dealers, the crossovers can accommodate many different installation configurations. They can operate as a 3-way crossover or the installer can shut down one section to convert to 2-way.
The MX-1000SX can accommodate a woofer, midrange and/or tweeter in any combination.
CDT Audio was founded by Kenneth Persson, who spent 12 years running a 2-store car audio dealer in Europe and then began supplying a 150 store chain in Sweden with car audio products. He launched CDT Audio in the US in 2000.
The company sells to about 60 dealers.
