CRUX Updates Radio Kits with SWC For GM

Crux Interfacing Solutions is now shipping new radio replacement interfaces that are pre-programmed to retain the steering wheel controls for many General Motors vehicles.

The updated SWRGM-48 (2003-2013 GM CLASS II) and SWRGM-49 (2006-2015 GM LAN) allow voice commands using the factory steering wheel controls when you replace the factory radio with aftermarket radios from brands including Kenwood, Pioneer Alpine, Clarion and JVC.

The interfaces are compatible with Bose, Non-Bose and Y91 GM audio systems for quick and easy installation.

SWRGM-49 2006-2015 GM LAN Interface:

  • Retains factory features in select GM LAN 29 Bit vehicles while functioning with an aftermarket radio.
  • Pre-programmed to retain factory Steering Wheel Controls.
  • iPhone Voice Recognition (VR) feature from SWC on select Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine and JVC radios.
  • Supports Pick Up/End Call, Pick up and Toggle between 1st and 2nd incoming call, AVRCP Track, Seek.
  • Supports Bose, non-Bose and Y-91 audio systems.
  • Retains chime functions.
  • Retains factory back-up camera (if present).
  • EIA color coded wiring for easy installation.

 

SWRGM-48 2003-2013 GM Class II Interface:

 

  • Retains factory features in select GM Class II Data Bus vehicles while functioning with an aftermarket radio.
  • Pre-programmed to retain factory Steering Wheel Controls.
  • Voice Recognition Command from factory SWC.
  • Supports Bose, non-Bose and Y-91 audio systems.
  • Retains chime functions.
  • Built-in chime volume adjustment.
  • EIA color coded wiring for easy installation.
