MESA Announces Award Winners

MESA, the car audio buying group, held its annual Fall Summit, this year in Nashville, and presented awards to some of its 133 members.

Sound Depot & Performance, FL won “The Graduate” award for stepping up from a Gold member to a Platinum member. The last we heard, Platinum members have revenues of $1.8 million or more and Gold members have revenues of $700,000 or more.

Sound Decisions won the “Freshman Honor Roll” award. As one of 7 new retail members since last fall, it quickly employed all MESA programs for marketing, financing and vendor business.

Proline Car Stereo, NY won the “MESA ACE” award for adopting MESA branded products including batteries and wire.

Progressive Audio won the Team Player award and Good Vibration, MT won the Shifting Gears award for shifting its business rapidly to MESA vendors.

The 6th Annual M.E.S.A. Fall Summit attracted 300 attendees where members attended educational seminars on Marketing, Driving Customers to Your Store, Selling Financing, Buying Media, Expeditor Business, Getting into the Lighting Business, Making Groupon Work for Your Business, Saving Money is Easier than Making Money, The Business of Install, and Transform Your Store with Interactive Displays.

Vendor partners attending included AAMP Global, Atrend, Audio Control, Compustar, Directed, Dirk Marketing, Escort, Groupon, Hertz, iFocus, iTristan, Jensen, JL Audio, Kenwood, Alliance Data (M.E.S.A. Money), Mobile Solutions, Netsertive, Pioneer, Progressive Leasing, Race Sport, Roadwire, Rockford Fosgate, Scosche, SiriusXM, SolarGard, U.S. Bank, VOXX, and 5Axis.
