KnowledgeFest opens in Dallas tomorrow with a focus on forging new growth areas for car audio.
Sponsored by MEA (Mobile Electronics Assn.), formerly, MERA, the show features more than 50 exhibitors. Over 1,000 industry members were pre-registered for the event, setting a new record , said Mobile Electronics President Chris Cook.
A town hall be held on Saturday night on the topic “High Gear: Our Place in the Automotive Future,” with presentations from JL Audio, AAMP Global, ADS, Mobile Solutions and possibly Harman.

The show coincides with a new membership push for MEA to attract new retail members. The group will launch new programs including an SEO package with custom written content that starts at $300. Also new are discounts to stores such as Lowe’s, Staples, Office Depot and ADT.
