Mosconi GLADEN announced the new DSP 8TO12 Aerospace processor to ship in October at $1,399.
The DSP 8TO12, which just won an EISA award, includes the “best DA converter available” and other high end audiophile components, said Orca Design & Mfg., which distributes Mosconi, Focal, Gladen and Illusion Audio in the US.
It offers 8 channel inputs and 12 channel outputs with two digital inputs and one digital output.
It also handles high resolution audio at 24 bit/192kHz.
The processor will be on view at KnowledgeFest next week in Dallas.
Other features include
- up to 120db/octave crossover slopes are available
- Optional CD quality Bluetooth streaming
- Native Sample Rate = 24bit/192 khz
- 8Vrms Output.
- 90 db Channel Separation @ 1Khz.
- ATOM Auto-fade Trigger Option Mode. (Automatic Source Changing)
While the above processor is a new high end version, a standard DSP 8TO12Pro will be available by the end of the year at $999.
Software is similar for both, but the Aerospace version uses the best hardware available, says Orca.
