Cerwin Vega Mobile, Sony, DD Audio, and AudioMobile announced they will participate in the KnowledgeFest car audio trade show that kicks off on Saturday in Dallas.
Cerwin Vega Booth #222. Cerwin Vega will offer exclusive show specials for attendees and it will show its “Sound Vault” demo vehicle with STROKER and PRO series car audio equipment. Those who stop by the booth can win a Vega 10” powered active subwoofer, the VPAS10.
Cerwin Vega will also host a training session on Sunday, August 21st from 5:30PM – 6:30PM in the Desoto B room of the Hilton Anatole. Larry Frederick will conduct product training on Cerwin’s RPM (Recreation. Powersport. Marine) series products. Attendees can win an RPM tower speaker.

Sony and DOW Electronics. Sony and distributor DOW have teamed up with Gary Biggs of Audiofrog on a demo vehicle that will feature Sony’s Hi-Res audio head unit, the RSX-GS9.
The vehicle will showcase AudioControl processors and ampflifiers, Audiofrog speakers and subwoofers and Sony’s Hi-Res head unit. The RSX-GS9 will provide native DSD lossless playback or DSEE HX upscaling for compressed music. The car will feature AudioControl’s new DM-810 processor and two LC-4 800 four channel amps. “The audio quality from the Sony head unit and AudioControl processor and amps will be highlighted by Audiofrog’s GB series of speakers, designed to enhance musical details that are lost by less refined speakers.”

DD Audio Booth #350. In addition to displaying its products, DD Audio will host a training session on Saturday, August 20th, (5:30-6:30, meeting room DeSoto A). Led by Aaron Trimble, National Product Trainer, the session will focus on DD Audio’s US-made subwoofers.

Audiomobile. Audiomobile said it will enter a new category of audio products to be revealed at KnowledgeFest. It will also show subwoofers and OEM preamplifiers.
Additionally, Audiomobile will host a training session on Monday, August 22nd, from 8:30 to 9:30 am, which will focus on its new “M-CAR” Pre-tuned-Subwoofer-Transducer (“PST”) proprietary technology, as well as its LineDrive series of high-power, OEM Interface processors.
The seminar will also cover Audiomobile’s low profile subwoofers.
