GCH has developed a new interface for the SYNC 3 that adds more than the typical navigation views. It also provides two side camera inputs that can activate at the flip of a switch to allow pre-wired turn signal activated camera inputs.
The FD3 system integrates seamlessly with new Ford 2016 vehicles with SYNC 3 infotainment systems.
A single interface works for the full SYNC 3 line. GCH says it provides a plug and play installation in minutes and no VIN or vehicle specific info is required.
Once the system is added to the vehicle you also get the side camera capability without the need for extra cables or connections save the cameras themselves, said Greg Delgado of GCH.
“This system is the first of our new line up of products. We feel that in order to keep the navigation market viable, we need to give the customer more than just nav. Options like our new M.C.F. (Multi-Cam Functional) feature is one of many new features coming soon!”
