Kicker began shipping last month, new thin mount subwoofers under the CompVT line at less than 5-inches deep.
The line is built for high power handling and is available in single 2- or 4-ohm terminals and 10- and 12- inch sizes. Suggested retail prices range from $179.95-199.95.
Kicker also showed at CES in January, a new redesigned CX-Series. The line has an improved heat sink and slicker design. It consists of 4 mono models including an 1,800 watt version for the first time in the line. Also included are 4- and 5-channel amps. All the CX amps mount horizontally or vertically and have full range RCA pass through for easy set up. The two full range amps work with an optional remote bass control for operation from the front seat.
Some models of CX-Series amplifiers began shipping last month as well: a 300-watt monoblock ($179.95); a 600-watt monoblock ($299.95); and a 5-channel model featuring 4 channels at 75 watts with a 400-watt sub channel ($449.95). Three more models will be shipping within the end of the month.
