SiriusXM released its first touchscreen satellite radio controller that integrates into the car without the need to replace the radio.
The display, with swipe and touch control, can mount on the dash or elsewhere, and it connects to a SiriusXM tuner and antenna. It may be used with a flush mount kit (included) for a factory look.
The SiriusXM Commander Touch won a 2016 CES Innovation Award. It delivers satellite radio audio through the car’s factory radio via FM or aux audio output. It also includes satellite radio features such as TuneStart, which automatically starts a song at the beginning when you change channels.
It measures about 4 inches wide by 1.7 inches high and 1/2 inch deep.
Suggested retail price is $129.
