Phoenix Gold will announce at CES a 3-way component car speaker system specifically designed for BMW vehicles.
The iS-C8.3F provides direct replacement speakers so there’s no need to modify the car, with a system that offers better sound and increased dynamic range.
It includes two 8-inch midbass speakers, two 4-inch midranges, 25mm silk dome tweeters, and an outboard crossover network.
Phoenix Gold said the crossovers included in the package “are precision matched for a flatter response so listeners will experience less coloration and more natural sound reproduction.”
It works with the BMW 6-Series Cabrio & Coupe, X5, X6, X3, X4, 1-Series 3 & 5 door, 3-Series GT, Limo & Touring, and 4-Series Coupe, Cabrio, and Gran Coupe.
Other vehicle specific systems will be offered for select Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Shipping is expected in March at a price to be announced.
