Rockford Corp. said it will no longer distribute Brax, Helix and Match high end car audio brands that were offered in cooperation with Audiotec Fischer.
After four years, both parties have agreed to end their distribution agreement.
Rockford CEO Bill Jackson, said, “Everyone at Rockford, including myself, has the highest level of respect for Mr. Heinz and Mrs. Gudrun Fischer, their brands, and the technology they bring to the market place. However, at this time, Rockford has opportunities within its own brands that require its resources and therefore out of respect for Mr. and Mrs. Fischer, we have decided to end our distribution of the brands to allow them to re-address the North American market.”
Brax and Helix brands sold high end car audio products including digital signal processors (DSPs). Helix offers the DSP PRO processor that can perform audio streaming over Bluetooth and support Hi-Res Audio at 96kHz at $999.95.
Rockford will continue to sell, service, and support the Brax, Helix, and Match brands until a new distribution partner is announced.
