Fortin announced the release of 3X lock press capability for Honda vehicles, allowing drivers to use their factory keyfob to remote start their cars, without the need to carry an extra fob for remote start.
Instead users press three times on the lock button of their car key to initiate remote start. Fortin says it is the first supplier to offer this feature for Honda push to start vehicles 2008 and higher.
Also unlike many 3X lock press systems, you don’t lose control of the factory keyfob once the engine is running. So you are able to stop the remote start function from the keyfob.
The system also works with additional remote keyfobs for those who may want long ranger range control.
It requires an EVO-ONE module from Fortin. Several T-harness wiring cables are now available to work with the EVO-ONE for simple installation. They are the THAR-ONE-HON1 for 2008+ key vehicles, THAR-ONE-HON2 for 2012+ key vehicles and THAR-ONE-HON3 for 2013+ push-to-start vehicles.
The EVO-ONE is an all-in-one immobilizer bypass, door lock, digital high current remote starter & security system.
