Ford has added Siri voice capability to Sync vehicles (2011 and later) through a software upgrade.
Once downloaded, owners may give a long press on their steering wheel controls to activate Siri Eyes Free for Apple’s voice control system for making calls, playing music, sending text messages and more. Siri can also read the users’ text messages aloud and find directions.
More than 4 million Ford vehicles are eligible for the update.
Ford also recently added remote start-from-a-phone capability.
