Harman International won a total of 13 CES Innovation Honors including several for car electronics products.

Two awards went to car-related products including the JBL Trip and the Infinity Kappa 5. Additional car electronics Innovation winners will be announced at CES, said Harman.

The JBL Trip is a handsfree Bluetooth speaker for the car that mounts on a visor.  It uses the same type of speaker and amplifier as JBL portable/home Bluetooth streaming speakers. It also uses Harman’s voice cancellation technology for better audio even in road noise and traffic.  It can be  removed from the car to double as a conference call speaker in a hotel, office or home.
