GROM Audio announced it is taking pre-orders for a new HD Radio Dongle that plugs into select GROM aftermarket car OEM interfaces.
The GROM-HDR1 Dongle delivers static-free, quality audio from more than 2,000 HD Radio stations and access to HD2, HD3 and HD4 extra channels offered by HD Radio stations.
The dongle plugs into the extension port of GROM USB and Bluetooth add-on interfaces that let you integrate a smartphone into the car stereo and control it from the radio/steering wheel controls. It is specifically compatible with the GROM-USB3, GROM-MST4, GROM-IPD4, and GROM-BT3.
The new GROM-HDR1 is expected to ship October 28 at a suggested $89.99 and is now available for pre-order at the GROM Audio website.
