Rydeen announced the availability of a new automotive monitor and wireless camera in its Pro Grade Series of commercial vehicle solutions.
A new M7000P LCD monitor provides a commercial quality 800 x 480 display in a compact 7-inch format. It uses a patented windshield mounting system and has two video inputs, including one with auto switching for a dedicated back up camera. The M7000P allows users to reverse the image for front or rear applications and includes a sun visor and remote control.
Also built in to the M7000P, is a speaker for audio when connected to a Rydeen Pro Grade Camera. The AV connectors are all 4 pin commercial grade. Suggested retail price is $165.00
A new WG-2400P is a wireless camera using the 2.4 GHZ digital operating frequency. It has a compact weatherproof design (IP69 compliant) and allows installation outside of the vehicle trailer, cab or cabin for maximum effective range. It works in vehicles for which running cables and connectors is a challenge. The camera has a minimal latency (from the time the image registers in the camera to the time it appears on the monitor) so there are “no artifacts or delays,” said Rydeen.
The effective operating range of the WG-2400P is 100 feet. Suggested retail price is $450.
